Aim To evaluate the effects of phacoemulsification on intraocular pressure (lOP) in eyes with primary angle closure (PAC) after trabeculectomy or iridotomy.Methods 74 eyes who underwent phacoemulsification after iridotomy or trabeculectomy with PAC were retrospectively evaluated.The patients were divided into controlled and uncontrolled group.Mean lOP and decreases in lOP were determined before phacoemulsification, and 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months,12 months and 24 months after surgery.The number of glaucoma medications, bleb morphology and the visual acuity were compared at the last visit.
