Purpose To determine corneal viscoelasticity by Ocular Response Analyser (ORA) and investigate the relationship between corneal biomechanical properties and visual field (VF) progression in normal tension glaucoma (NTG) patients.Methods NTG Patients routinely visit Kitasato University Hospital glaucoma department during January 2010 to February 2014 were enrolled.The ocular examination included visual acuity, corneal parameters such as corneal curvature and corneal refractive power, Goldmann applanation tonometer (GAT).ORA parameters included corneal compensated lOP (IOPcc), Goldmann estimated lOP (IOPg), corneal hysteresis (CH), corneal resistance factor (CRF) and central corneal thickness (CCT).VF was test by SITA-Standard 30-2 fields.All patients had VF 3 years ago as baseline and GAT not exceed 15 mmHg during followup.Patients were divided into four groups according to the MD change during the 3 years,and compared between upper 25th percentile group (slow progression group) and lower 25th percentile group (rapid progression group).
