Occludin,the first cloned component of tight junction,is a four transmembrane protein with four transmembraned domain and a coiled-coil domain in the c-terminal.Our lab previously found that,occludin could regulate the directional migration of epithelial cell (MDCK). Now we tried to decide whether occludin could regulate the endothelia cell (HMECs) migration and angiogenesis.
