  芋螺毒素(Conopeptide,Conotoxin,CTx)是生长于热带海洋中的肉食性软体动物芋螺(genus Conus)分泌的一大类活性多肽,可以用来捕食、防御和威慑竞争者。自然界含有约700多种芋螺,每一种可以分泌超过1000种芋螺毒素肽,且不同种间鲜有重复。由于大多数芋螺毒素可以区分不同种类的离子通道亚型,因此芋螺毒素广泛被用作药理学工具研究离子通道,同时一些芋螺毒素可直接作为潜在的诊断和治疗药物进行开发。
