　　The venom of spider is an increasingly valuable library to discover novel componentsfortherapeutic applications and investigating the relationship of the structure-function of ion channels.The gene of HWTX-XVllbl was directly cloned from thespider venom glands of Ornithoctonus huwena.In order to elucidatethe structureand the biological activities,recombinant HWTX-XVllbl was successfully expressed, furtherpurified and characterized.
