2014年4月6日清晨,北京武术理论文史研究会、形意拳研究会、八卦掌研究会名誉会长、顾问,70多岁的内家拳名家王桐先生率领众会员及门人弟子50余人来到万安公墓祭扫八卦掌历代先贤。向八卦掌董海川祖师、二世梁振蒲宗师、三世宗师郭古民、李子鸣先生和四世先贤们敬献了鲜花。会后大家合影留念(见图)。从上世纪80年代开始,每年清明,王桐先生都会率领门人弟子来祭扫八卦掌先贤,至今30余年,风雨无阻,从未间断过,实践了他尊师
