The two Canadian manufacturers of innovative products - DTH drilling rig and the well-drilling rig effectively together, can become a meaningful drilling equipment. The successful vertical funnel back-mining method (VCR) requires accurate drilling of larger boreholes larger than the usual diameter. To this end CMS developed a series of CD-series downhole drilling rigs. Since its introduction a few years ago, this rig has undergone many improvements and has been further promoted. Of particular interest is a combination of two drills. For example, a CMS CD-360 DTH drill with a large torque head uses a Rock Rover machine (such as the V-30). The V-30 rock drilling rig weighs about 1000kg (including impactor and drill bits) and uses it
