在唐代,具备相当的文学素养是文官任职资格中的重要条件。唐代礼官的选任之所以看重文才,与唐代政治文化背景、所强调的参政之“文”的性质以及礼官的职事内容均密切相关。礼官任职资格中的文学因素,因礼官职能及官员品阶而不同。以礼官职能而论,礼部礼官较太常寺礼官更为重视选任者的文学才能;以官员品阶而论,低品阶礼官较高品阶礼官对文学才能要求更为显著。
In the Tang Dynasty, having a considerable literary accomplishment was an important condition for qualifications of civil servants. The reason why the choice of ceremonial officials in the Tang Dynasty valued literary talents was closely related to the nature of political “Wen” and the content of official ceremonies highlighted by the political and cultural backgrounds in the Tang Dynasty. Literary factors in eligibility for courtesy officials vary depending on the functions of courtesans and the rank of officials. In the aspect of ceremonial official function, ceremonial ceremonial officer paid more attention to the literary talent of the candidate than Tai Chang Si ceremonial official. In the aspect of official rank, higher grade ceremonial officials of lower grade gave more significant literary talent.
