Hailed as “The Greatest Irish poet since Yeats” “Seymour Sini passed away on August 31, 2013, at the age of seventy-four. Sheeni is not only the most famous English poet of the time (it is said that his book sales account for two thirds of the total sales of poets in the United Kingdom), and is also the most famous poet in the world today. Sinny grew up in poor rural Northern Ireland and studied at Queen’s University Belfast. In 1966 he became the poetic star of poetry with his collection of poems describing the rural life, ”the death of a naturalist," and taught Queen Mother University the same year. In 1981, he was a guest lecturer at the University of California at Berkeley and moved to the suburbs of Dublin in 1972 in the capital of the Republic of Ireland. From 1985 to 1997 taught at Harvard University
