今天在北京召开的全国证券监管系统党建工作会议明确提出,要贯彻全国金融系统党建工作会议精神,落实“党要管党,从严治党”的具体措施,努力开创证券监管系统党建工作的新局面。全国证券监管系统党建工作会议由中国证监会党委书记、主席周正庆主持,中央金融工委委员、中国证监会党委副书记、副主席陈耀先发表重要讲话。陈耀先说,随着金融证券事业稳步健康发展,证券监管系统党建工作不断加强。1998年,按照中央的部署,成立了中国证监会党委,实行了党的组织和干部的垂直管理,证券监管系统党的建设工作本着边组建、边开展工作的原则,紧紧围绕证券体制改革和证券市场的发展,以选配干部和廉政建设两件大事为重点,认真地开展党建工作,证监会系统党的建设各项工作取得了一定成绩。
