《九年义务教育全日制小学数学教学大纲》在“教学要求”中明确指出:要通过观察、操作、猜测等方式,培养学生的探索意识,使学生初步学会运用所学的数学知识和方法解决一些简单的实际问题。这里的操作即为教具、学具操作,利用学具操作的直观性、形象性和空间特征,帮助学生掌握抽象数学知识,有助于激发学生的学习兴趣,使学生建立正确而清晰的概念,有助于学生思维能力的发展和创新精神的培养。在小学数学教学活动中如何引导学生对数学的向往,具有良好的兴趣和动机,并获得快乐和享受,历来是我们数学教师在课堂教学中所孜孜以求的。
