昆舞被提纯是舞蹈在苏州——昆曲发祥地的一项重要举措。这一从“文化生态”理论看来是善举之事,却使得舞界戏界同行的疑惑或担忧:一惑,昆舞提纯将会流失昆曲文化的内涵;二惑,昆舞将会与现行的古典舞“身韵”同姓;三惑,昆舞扭曲了昆曲表演形态,成为继承文化遗产的反声。从“文化生态学”而论,每一种文化形态都是一个动态的生命体,生命体中的任一有机部分构成一个互相作用、互相关联的整体,有机部分的合力促使生命体的旺盛与平衡。昆舞提纯必须在昆曲文化语境中去完成,它是从肢体语言上,对昆曲文化的强化,因而有其现实的存在价值。

The purification of Kun dance must be completed in Kunqu cultural context. It is from the body language, the strengthening of Kunqu culture, so it has its realistic value.
