In January， Beijing was still cold， most Chinese children were enjoying their winter holiday. The child reporters of Tongxin News Agency went for another news gathering trip after good preparation.
一月的北京依然是料峭的春寒，正当大多数的中国儿童还在享受他们难得的寒假假期之时，“童心通讯社”的小记者们早已整装待发开始了新一轮采访实践的征程——
Fresh air embraced them from the moment they got off the plane， and everyone inhaled deeply and greedily. Child reporter Xinxin from Tongxin News Agency told us she could see very bright stars there and she hoped each time she looked up at the starlit sky she could see stars twinkling and there would not be severely polluted air. Children’s good wishes made us adults feel ashamed. After enjoying the air， sea and blue sky of Maldives， the child reporters had an interview with Maldives’ deputy minister of Public Relations Department and asked him the questions about their findings. The deputy minister answered them one by one. After the interview， Xinxin said I should try my best to protect our own environment so that we could enjoy the same sky as the one in Maldives and at night I could fall asleep at starry night， and blue night sky， bright stars， green grass and fresh flowers could come into my dreams， which must be wonderful. Xinxin indulged herself in the description of her dreams and said she would work hard to protect the environment so that her dreams could come true one day. Environmental protection needs everyone’s effort. As the masters of the future， child reporters are advocating more people’s participation in environmental protection with their efforts and words. Young though they are， they use their actions to tell people age doesn’t matter that much in environmental protection. Little power though they have， they teach people with their actions that one should start from oneself in environmental protection and influence others on environmental protection participation.
一下飞机，清新的空气扑面而来，所有的人都贪婪地多呼吸了两口。童心通讯社的小记者欣欣告诉我们，在这里她看到了星星，特别明亮的那种，她希望每一次的仰望星空，都能看到星星在和自己眨眼睛，希望再也不要再有pm2.5。孩子们美好的愿望，让我们随行的成人感到愧疚。在好好地感受了马尔代夫的空气、大海、蓝天之后，童心通讯社的小记者们采访了马尔代夫外联部副部长，小记者们围绕自己发现的问题进行了提问，副部长也一一给出了答案。欣欣在采访完后说，我要好好地保护我们自己的环境，让我们的天空和马尔代夫的天空一样，那样每一天的晚上，星星就可以陪伴我进入梦乡了，有蓝色的夜空，有闪亮的星星，有绿油油的草儿，有鲜艳欲滴的花朵，那样的梦一定很美吧！欣欣对梦境的描绘很陶醉，为了有这样的梦，欣欣说要努力地保护环境。环境的保护在于每个人的努力，像小记者们这样，他们作为未来的主人，用自己的努力、自己的文字倡导更多的人参与到环境的保护中来。虽然小记者们的年龄比较小，但是他们的行动告诉了所有人：在环保的行动力上年龄不是问题；虽然小记者们的力量没有那么大，但是他们的行动告诉了所有人：从我做起，带领身边的人投入到环境的保护中来。
Environmental protection and animal protection are the voices of China and the world in this era. Only when they are put in actions， can the harmony between man and nature be realized. During their visit to Maldives， the child reporters were greatly attracted by this country of blue seas and sky as soon as they arrived. Seeing a sea bird walking by the seaside， the child reporters came to the bird at lunch break. More than a dozen child reporters and their president began their discussion on sea birds. “Why aren’t the sea birds afraid of me？” “How can we make more sea birds come and play with us？” “How can we protect them better？” The child reporters put forward their questions one after another and President Feng answered them one by one when the child reporters listened carefully， nodding their heads or looking at the birds. On the island， there appeared a beautiful picture at noon： a group of children feeding， talking to and taking pictures with the sea birds. Besides sea birds， the child reporters were also glad to find hermit crabs on Club Faru. They found that many seashells were home to hermit crabs when they were picking up some seashells on the beach. When they showed off the beautiful seashells they had found to each other， they suddenly saw hermit crabs in them. What should they do？ To have beautiful seashells or to protect the hermit crabs？ It was a dilemma for them. They put the hardly found seashells in their hands to appreciate their beauty. At sunset， they all decided to put the seashells with hermit crabs back to the sea， which made them smile happily. Respecting and protecting little animals should be part of education. The child reporters knew that they should start from minor things happening in their life to understand， cherish， respect， and enjoy life and live harmoniously with nature to raise life quality and acquire life value. They shared this idea with their fellow students. 爱护环境、保护动物这是当代中国甚至世界都发出的声音，这些只有落实到实际的行动中，才能真正做到人与自然的和谐发展。在此次童心通讯社小记者赴马尔代夫之行中，小记者们一踏上马尔代夫的土地就被这蔚蓝的国度所深深吸引。一只海鸟，在岸边散步，小记者们在吃完中午饭的空隙，来到海鸟的身边，十几个小记者和童心通讯社的冯洋社长就开始了他们和海鸟的座谈会。“海鸟为什么不怕我呢？”、“怎么才能让更多的海鸟都飞到岸上和我们一起玩耍呢？”、“我们怎么做才能更好的保护它们呢？”，小记者们积极踊跃的向冯社长提问，冯社长就一个一个的回答小记者们的问题，小记者们认真地倾听着，不时地点点头，不时地看看海鸟。在海岛上，每天中午就多了一幅美丽的画面，一群孩子在喂食海鸟，在和海鸟聊天，和海鸟一起合影留念。小记者们在法鲁岛上的朋友除了海鸟还有海边的寄居蟹。来到海边，小记者们想着捡拾一些贝壳，可他们发现这海边的好多贝壳已被寄居蟹占为他们的家。每当捡到好看的贝壳，同伴之间互相炫耀的时候，突然发现贝壳中有寄居蟹，这就让小记者们很是为难，是拥有漂亮贝壳呢还是保护寄居蟹呢？先把好不容易找的贝壳放在手中，好好欣赏一下。在太阳咕咚落下海平面的时候，小记者们决定集体把自己捡到的有寄居蟹的贝壳放回到大海中。在夕阳的余晖中，小记者们的笑容特别的灿烂。对小动物的尊重和保护也是学生教育的一部分，从身边的小事做起，认识生命、珍惜生命、尊重生命、爱护生命、享受生命、超越生命的提升生命质量、获得生命价值，小记者们知道并且告知身边的同学：从自己做起，尊重生命，和自然和谐相处。
The child reporters of Tongxin News Agency interviewed Mr. Yu Hongyao， Chinese ambassador to Maldives， head of the Maldives Tourism Board， deputy minister of the Maldives Public Relations Department， and former Maldives’ ambassador to China respectively during this visit. Before the interviews， the child reporters were at ease when receiving training courses and they gained joys from both playing and learning， which was inseparable for them. The questions they prepared for this visit were new， professional and thought-provoking and were praised by the interviewees. A child reporter of Grade Four asked： “Hi！ I’m a child reporter from China’s Tongxin News Agency. I see the houses on Club Faru are lower than the trees and I want to know why？”Though it was not a big question， questions like this were put forward by child reporters out of their own feelings and findings. They gave the society and experts their own voices which represented their strength. The interviews cultivated their ability to find out and think over questions， courage to interview people， writing ability and social responsibility. This news gathering activity first got the child reporters experience by themselves and incorporated this experience in education which touched their hearts and then they felt the urgency of environmental protection and the care for life. A child reporter from Grade Five said： “Adults have been concerning about protecting the environment， yet our environment is not good enough. I think I should write an article to tell my peers that we should start now and start from picking up a mineral water bottle， not littering， and protecting our surroundings. I believe the environment will become better and better gradually.” Talents with international perspectives are especially vital to a country’s development. Children and teenagers aged between 8 and 16 are the future and hope of our nation， and their education， growth， vision and concept are of great importance to the development of the country. A senior headmaster once told the young students： “I hope all of you have an international vision as children. You should be cultivated with our own culture as well as what’s going on in the world so that you can have an international perspective. You should aspire to be useful people to the country and devote yourselves to the progress of human civilization.” Thoughts decide directions， and visions define worlds. Chinese children should work hard and dabble in various fields to enrich and broaden their outlook and make their own dreams come true. They should have global awareness and take in advanced cultures from around the world with critical thinking， and open their eyes by familiarizing themselves with histories， cultures， arts， and customs of other countries in the world. Child reporters of Tongxin News Agency are working hard toward these goals by looking at the world with children’s eyes and spreading news with children’s words.
童心通讯社的小记者们在此次赴马尔代夫的活动中分别采访了中国驻马尔代夫大使余洪耀先生、马尔代夫旅游局局长、马尔代夫外联部副部长、马尔代夫前任驻华大使。在采访之前，小记者们接受了老师们的课程培训，课堂氛围轻松而愉快，在玩中学习，在学习中收获乐趣。针对此次出访活动，小记者们积极准备自己要提问的问题，角度新颖，专业而深刻，所提问的问题也得到了被采访者的表扬，一个四年级的小记者问道：“您好，我是来自中国童心通讯社的小记者，我发现在我住的法鲁岛上，所有的房子都是低于树木的，这是为什么呢？”小记者的问题虽然比较稚嫩，但是这样的问题是小记者们从自己的感受出发，以自己看到的发现的为基准，向社会向专家提出问题，发出自己的声音，有声音就代表着力量的存在。通过这样一次机会，很好地培养了小记者们发现问题、思考问题的角度、采访他人的胆识、写作的能力以及他们的社会责任感。这一次的采访活动先带领小记者们感受，使教育触及灵魂，由此才使得小记者们生发出环境保护、对生命关怀的感触。一位五年级的童心通讯社的小记者说：“其实大人们都在说环境保护什么的，可是我们的环境还是没有理想中的那么好，我觉得我应该写一篇文字，让我们的同龄人我们的伙伴都看到，我们一起从现在开始，从自我做起，从捡起一个矿泉水瓶子、不乱丢弃一点点的垃圾做起，保护身边的环境，一点一滴，我相信我们的环境会越来越好的。”国家的发展尤其需要更多的具有国际视野的高素质人才。八到十六岁的儿童群体是祖国的未来和民族的希望，他们的教育、成长、视野、观念对于国家的发展尤为重要。一位老校长在对新一代的寄语中说过：希望所有的学生们都有国际视野，从儿童阶段便培养学生的国际视野，立足本国文化，俯瞰世界步伐，培养自己的世界眼光和国际视野，立志成才报国，有志于世界文明的进步。
思路决定出路，眼界决定世界。面对五彩缤纷的大千世界，中国的儿童们要努力学习，广泛涉猎，开阔和丰富自己的眼界，开创和成就自己的梦想。要放眼全球，批判地吸收当今世界各国的先进文化，尽可能通过广泛涉猎和熟悉世界各国历史、文化、艺术、风俗等来开阔自己的国际眼界。中国童心通讯社的小记者们在努力，童心看世界，童言播新闻。
