1.从江苏省各地的苕子、蚕豆根瘤和土壤中分离和筛选了生长快、结瘤早、固氮能力强的7个菌株。在苕子上9—12天内即可形成肉眼可见的根瘤。经36天的幼苗试验,7084及7130两个菌株每盆可由空气中固定氮素30毫克以上,7017及7122在20毫克以上,分别比不接种的增加氮素4—6倍。2.初选的菌株比江苏北部土壤中原有的根瘤菌毒力强、成瘤快。苕子接种后,每亩鲜草产量可增加700—1500斤。用过磷酸钙作种肥,7017、7084及7130三个菌株可使每亩苕子固氮6.0—6.5斤,若用钙镁磷肥作种肥,7017和7084可固氮4.1—4.8斤。3.上述优良菌株不仅在砂质土壤中有效,在粘质的淤土上也有一定效果。此外,接种在豌豆上,对绿色体的产量和籽实产量均有增产效果。
