The initial IBM PC keyboard made a very nice sound because it emulated the sound of an old typewriter. For many users, the lack of sound feedback on the keyboard can give people a blur, or at least uncomfortable. The keyboard now has no built-in ticking mechanism, but we can simulate it with software.
