本文结合海内外同行提供的具体案例,分析导致跨文化交际中出现问题的原因并提出一些解决策略:语言上的差异是引起跨文化交际障碍的诸多原因之一,因此,在跨文化交际中,必须准确地翻译和理解对方的语言;同一文化内部也会存在着或大或小的差异,这些差异同样会影响到我们的交际,因此,为了克服跨文化交际障碍,我们在“入乡随俗”之前,应该先做到“人乡问俗”——了解之后才能知道什么是应该做的、什么是不应该做的;另外,在对待一些基本问题时,具有不同文化背景的人其实存在着共同的好恶,甚至具有一些共同的价值观,这时,跨文化交际者本身的素质就成为能否解决跨文化交际障碍的关键条件。如何多方面地提高交际者本身的素质是解决跨文化交际障碍的更重要的命题。这种提高,既包括语言与文化等知识方面的,也包括道德修养方面的,从某种角度讲,后者应该是更为重要的。
