This paper report new zircon U-Pb dating,major- and trace element,whole-rock Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic and zircon Lu-Hf isotopic compositions for the high-Mg# diorite and associated mafic enclaves from the Gaoqiao pluton,western margin in the Dongjiangkou pluton,south Qinling,central China.Zircon LA-ICP MS U-Pb dating reveal that the host diorite and mafic enclaves have 206Pb/238U weighted mean ages of 227±3 Ma (MSWD = 1.4,2σ) and 221 ±3 Ma (MSWD=1.7,2σ),respectively.
