Archean rocks are widely distributed in the North China Craton (NCC),most underwent amphibolite to granulite facies metamorphism. The evidences from chemical and geochronological data have been demonstrated the main crustal growth episode is at late-Archean (2.7-2.5Ga).Huoqiu Group located within southeastern margin of the NCC,where the Early Precambrian basement is dominated by late-Archean grey gneisses, amphibolites and metasediments. The gneisses are similar with TTG in compositions and interlayer with amphibolites.Igneous zircon age of gneisses and amphibolites are 2.86 and 2.75 Ga,respectively, indicating their protolith ages.
