Localized chemotherapy is routinely used for a number of malignancies [1].As soft materials,hydrogels are perfect candidate for localized drug delivery.Usually,thixotropic hydrogel is alternate for in situ forming hydrogel because it can avoid leakage while the effect of the local environment on gelation is almost negligible.Curcumin is a naturally occurring polyphenol with great anti-cancer property,it is reported that curcumin shows synergetic antitumor effects when combines with doxorubicin,and can ameliorate MDR and cardiomyopathy caused by doxorubicin.However,these benefits of curcumin suffer from its extremely low water solubility and bioavailability [2].
