Camptothecin(CPT) has shown significant antitumor activity in a broad spectrum of human malignancies.However,its use is hampered by rapid metabolism,short plasma half-life,and low selectivity towards tumor tissue [1].To overcome these limits,reduction-sensitive bioconjugates of camptothecin were studied using poly(ethylene glycol)-co-polylactide-co-polycarbonate-graft-(SScamptothecin-co-IR820) as polymeric carrier.These novel disulfide-linked conjugates were able to release the drug in an intracellular-mimicking reductive environment [2].At the same time,poly(isobutylene-alt-maleic anhydride)-functionalized near-infrared (NIR) IR-820 dye was used as nearinfrared fluorescent probe for in-vivo imaging (Fig.1) [3].
