Cytochrome P450 monooxygenases (P450), widely distributed multifunctional enzymes, that play an important role in the oxidative metabolism of endogenous compounds and xenobiotics.Studies have found that these enzymes show peroxidase-like activity and may thus be involved in protecting organisms against reactive oxygen species (ROS).In this work, Apis cerana cerana was used to investigate the molecular mechanisms of P450 family genes in resisting ROS damage.A cytochrome P450 gene was isolated, AccCYP336A1.
