Molecular chirality plays an important role in biological processes.Owing to the existence of pharmacological and toxicological differences between stereoisomers, chiral consideration is now an integral part of drug research and development and of the regulatory process.Ranolazine is administered clinically as a racemic mixture, therefore, it is very important to measure the concentrations of each ranolazine enantiomer in clinical application.Correct choice of CSP in LC determines the success or failure of a chromatographic enantioselective separation.Due to the drawback of coated CSP, it is significative to develop an analytical separation method of chiral drug using immobilized CSP.
