The most important innovation in the field of ordered mesoporous silicas (OMSs) is undoubtedly the use of bridged silsesquioxane molecules as precursors for the synthesis of periodic mesoporous organosilicas (PMOs).Compared with OMSs, PMOs incorporated of organic groups directly into the framework improves the mechanical strength of materials. And it exhibits highly ordered structure, narrow pore size distribution and pore steric hindrance, which has brought the synthesis from channel to pore wall. The organic groups improved accessibility to the functional sites that make PMOs much more useful for various applications.Amine is one of the most attractive ones in the various functional groups due to the wide applications. However, bridged amine-functionalized bifunctional PMOs with ordered structure synthesized in the acid medium have not been reported as we known.
