Carbon dots(CDs)is carbon nanomaterials with sizes below 10nm,which has attractive optical properties.As green fluorescent nanomaterials,CDs can be used to build novel photoelectrical devices with cheap prices [1].However,the photoelectrical properties of CDs based devices were not as good as expected.Both the density of CDs on electrode and the photoinduced charge separation efficiency of CDs was very low.In this paper,to get better photoelectrical performances,carbon dots/graphene oxide(CDs/GO)nanocomposites were fixed on gold electrode with layer-by-layer(LBL)methods.The experimental results showed that nanoscale GO(20nm)can enhance the photocurrent amplitude by improving the separation efficiency of electron-hole pairs of photoexcited CDs.And the concentration of GO played important role in photocurrent enhancement.
