  A wide portion of the electromagnetic radiation can be given off by the sun,in particular infrared,visible,and ultraviolet light.Based on the solar source,analytical spectroscopy has in fact played unique roles in cosmic discoveries,atmospheric chemistry,geochemistry,and environmental science and routine analysis.This minireview discusses the development of analytical chemistry using the solar source,including atomic spectroscopy,solar spectroscopy,visual colorimetry and much more.Furthermore,we propose a variety of analytical strategies in its perspectives.
