　　Dehydroabietic acid is a constituent of pine oleoresin and can be readily obtained from disproportionated rosin.It has been reported to possess antimicrobial,antifungal,insecticidal,gastroprotective and antitumor activities.Owing to its broad bioactivities and unique characteristics,dehydroabietic acid has been used to synthesize novel bioactive compounds for many years.
