Oxalic acid (OA) is an important pathogenic factor of many plant pathogenic fungi, e.g.Botrytis cinerea,Sclerotinia sclertdorum, et aL, at the beginning of infection.The genus Trichoderma act as biological control agents, the antagonistic properties of which are based on the activation of multiple mechanisms.Recently,the researchers begin to concern about OA elimination ability of Trichoderma, and unearthed some bio-control functions about the ability.Our data also showed that T.harzianum LTR-2 could eliminate OA from medium.
