In the study, response surface methodology (RSM) was used to optimize the production of natamycin by a strain Streptomyces lydicus A01-chit33 CT in the first fermentation stage and chitin powder was added to optimize the production of chitinase in the second fermentation stage.In the first fermentation stage, RSM based on Plackett-Burman design and Box-Behnken design was used to optimize the production of natamycin.
