Tomato grey mould is devastating disease caused by Botryt-is cinerea.At present chemical fungicides are widely used to control grey mould, but the pathogen start to produce resistance to chemicals particularly in chemical fungicide heavily-used areas.On the other hand, the frequent or over application of chemical fungicides would bring more risk of too much pesticide residue left in fruits.So it is extremely crucial to develop environmentally friendly plant disease control approaches.Using bio-control microorganism to prevent tomato from grey mold infection can not only guarantee tomato safety production, but also improve tomato yield and quality of the product.
