传染病的发生起始于病原体对宿主细胞的粘附,而后引发的一系列病理生理过程.许多病原体对宿主的粘附依赖于其表面的蛋白(一般为凝集素类)与宿主表面糖链之间的特异性结合,如流感病毒的HA蛋白与宿主细胞表面唾液酸寡糖的结合.
