In the past thirty years,China has achieved rapid urbanization with an unprecedented rate,depth and breadth.Urbanization contributes a lot to Chinas economic development but rapid urbanization is also accompanied by a sharp increase in energy consumption and environmental pollution.As for the impact of urbanization on environmental pollution,there exists both growth effect and aggregation effect which play opposite role,so the relationship between urbanization on environmental pollution need to be discussed further.
