《忆娘》是空政歌剧团继《江姐》后又一成功之作。它通过三十年的变迁,表现了侨胞青年热爱祖国、“树高千丈,叶落归根”、一心想投入祖国建设的宏图伟愿。忆娘那温顺、忠贞、坚韧的品德,给观众留下了深刻的印象。整个戏发挥了歌剧综合艺术的特点,使歌和剧、情和景融为一体。音乐创作,在增强戏剧性,刻划人物方面有突出的成就,获得了歌剧艺术形象创造的成功。剧中人物性格的音乐形象鲜明、丰富多彩,旋律动听。《明月》一曲是忆娘的主调音乐,开头两个乐句是:
“Yi Niang” is the air opera group following the “Jiang Jie” after another successful work. Through 30 years of change, it shows that overseas Chinese compatriots are loving their motherland. They are “tremendous in height and have their roots in the roots.” They are bent on devoting themselves to the grandiose ambition of building a motherland. Memories that docile, loyal, tenacious character, to the audience left a deep impression. The whole play has played a comprehensive opera art features, so that the song and drama, love and scenery into one. The creation of music has made outstanding achievements in enhancing the drama and characterization, winning the creation of opera art.
