本栏这一期向读者隆重推出的是旅居京都的皖籍作家潘军。上个世纪的八十年代中期,潘军同余华、格非、苏童、孙甘露等一起,作为先锋派的代表性作家,按其颇有影响的先锋作品如《流动的沙滩》、《南方的情绪》、《蓝堡》等在文坛亮相,并颇引人注目。后来,他一度从合肥到了海口,下海经商,不久,他又重返文坛。他几度进出文坛,又几度迁徙居住的城市,但始终坚持其文学的主张,以深度地开掘人性与创造美为其文学创作的目标。惟其如此,无论是扛着先锋派的旗帜,还是转向现实主义的创作:无论是上述先锋派的代表作,还是前些年颇引人注目的《日景》、《重瞳》等带有浓重浪漫主义气息的作品,抑或是近年来推出的长篇政论小说《死刑报告》和中篇小说《合同婚姻》、《犯罪嫌疑人》等现实主义作品,都在勾画出潘军二十年来走过的一条独特的创作道路。我们当然有理由为潘军二十年来所取得的丰硕的创作成果和探索的一条属于他的创作道路而感到高兴,并从中受到启迪和鼓舞。应该说,潘军正是以其高于创造性的劳动为我们时代的文坛做出独特的贡献。潘军又是多才多艺的。他工于书画,又写小说,又写话剧剧本,还能当电视剧导演,据说还颇精于厨艺。多方面的爱好和才艺无疑对他的小说创作起了重要的作用。潘军又是一个有个性,重孝道,重友情,铁骨铮铮,一身正气的人;他疾恶如仇,心地善良;他热爱文学,然又远离文坛;他轻名利,重情义。作为一个有追求、有血性的作家,像潘军这样的人,在当今文坛中实属凤毛麟角。这里,我们约请潘军的爱人和几位文友一起来聊聊潘军,以期广大读者加深对潘军及其作品的了解,我想这个愿望是不会落空的。
