Juan Carlos Rivera, managing director of the Peruvian Mango Plantation and Export Association, said Peruvian mango exports will fall by 30% -40% to 136,000 t compared to 2013. Peruvian Mango Plantation and Export Association representatives visited Piura, Lambayeque and Ancash and found fewer mango flowers in these growing areas than in previous years.
