2008年7月,100余件白色兵马俑造型的雕塑作品在北京建外SOHO中心广场亮相,它们形态各异,造型风趣时尚,吸引了不少路人驻足观看和拍照留影。一些媒体称这次展览是一个特别的个人作品展览,原因在于展览没有选择在美术馆或艺术中心举办,而是选择了与公众最为接近的商业区广场,实现了艺术与公众的零距离接触,使原本的架上雕塑成功转型为公共艺术作品。而对于我来说,这次“借兵”成功借到的恰恰是这片风景。
In July 2008, more than 100 pieces of white terracotta sculptures sculptured in the square of SOHO Center in Jianwai, Beijing. They all have different shapes and styles, and attracted many passers-by to watch and take photos. Some media said the exhibition was a special exhibition of personal works because the exhibition did not choose to hold in art galleries or art centers, but instead chose to be the closest commercial plaza to the public, realizing the close contact between art and the public, So that the original frame sculpture successfully transformed into public works of art. For me, this is the scenery borrowed from this success.
