As a productive force, science and technology are not only a powerful impetus to the progress of history, but also an important measure of the degree of civilization and progress of human society. Since the 1920s, unprecedented changes have taken place at all levels of Chinese society, including science and technology. Having explored the development of science and technology in China in the past 70 years will be helpful for the study of the history of Chinese modern science and culture and some enlightenment to people in correctly understanding the relationship between science and society.
