李可染画院,是李可染夫人、著名美术教育家、雕塑家邹佩珠女士应李可染先生众多老朋友、学生、弟子的要求,经与李可染艺术基金会理事会协商,于2007年12月提出倡议,2012年3月24日经国家事业单位登记管理局正式批准成立的。2012年8月19日,在钓鱼台国宾馆芳菲苑举行了李可染画院成立大会暨揭牌仪式。李可染画院吸引团结了一批著名的画家、科学家、艺术家和社会活动家,比如著名科学家李政道和著名音乐家周巍峙出任该画院名誉理事长;邹佩珠则出任该画院的理事长兼院长;著名学者型画家、李可染的儿子李庚出任该画院的执行院长。
Li Kelai Painting Academy is the home of Ms. Li Keran and famous art educator and sculptor Ms. Zou Peizhu. At the request of Mr. Li Keran’s many old friends, students and disciples, Li Keran, an art educator and sculptor, proposed in December 2007 in consultation with the Li Keran Art Foundation Council. On the 24th by the State Administration of public registration formally approved the establishment. On August 19, 2012, the inauguration ceremony of Li Kelai Painting Studio was held in Fangfeiyuan, Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Li Kelai Painting Academy attracts a group of famous painters, scientists, artists and social activists, such as renowned scientist Li Zhengdao and famous musician Zhou Weizhi as honorary chairman of the academy; Zou Peizhu serves as director and president of the academy; Type painter, Li Keran’s son Lee Geng as executive director of the art academy.
