Xi Jinping, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Secretariat, and the president of the Central Party School made speeches at the opening ceremony of the 2009 autumn semester of the Central Party School. He emphasized that the 60 years since the founding of People’s Republic of China was the 60-year period in which the Chinese Communist Party led the people of all ethnic groups throughout the country in making unremitting efforts to bring about prosperity among the rich and prosperous the people and prosperity for the rich and happy people. It is also an important part of China’s socialist economic construction, political construction and cultural construction.
