本文从中西方文化对人们交际过程中“礼貌”这一概念的理解出发,简要说明了礼貌原则产生的背景,重点介绍了与礼貌原则相关的理论的发展和完善。其中主要包括Lakoff的礼貌三原则,Brown和Levison的面子理论,Leech的礼貌六原则等,同时也介绍了顾曰国立足中国本土文化所建立的礼貌体系。并运用2012美国总统大选电视辩论及中国热播电视剧《媳妇儿的美好时代》中的语料进行例证分析以更好的说明理论。
This article starts with the understanding of the concept of “politeness” in the process of communication between Chinese and western cultures, briefly explains the background of politeness principle, and focuses on the development and improvement of the theory related to politeness principle. These mainly include Lakoff’s three principles of courtesy, Brown’s and Levison’s face theory, Leech’s six principles of courtesy, etc. At the same time, Gu Yueguo introduces the courtesy system established by Guoli in Chinese native culture. And use the 2012 US presidential election television debate and the Chinese hit television drama “a beautiful era of daughter-in-law,” the corpus for example analysis to better illustrate the theory.
