产品质量至关重要,但质量好并不能保证一定畅销。因为质量虽是重要因素,却不是唯一因素。还有许多别的因素,也很重要,甚至有时也能起决定作用。一是经济大气候,高涨时产品好销,滞胀时不好销。二是品种花色,对路好销,反之不好销。三是价格,偏廉好销,偏贵不好销。四是企业、产品知名度,知名度高好销,反之不好销。五是交货、投放市场是否及时,及时好销,反之不好销。六是供求关系,求大于供好销,供大于求不好销。七是服务,服务到家好销,反之不好销。八是销售,网络齐全,推销得法,流通渠道畅通好销,反之不好销。九是包装,包装合时引人好销,反之不好销。等等。据载,许多地方的煤炭、水果积压是因为运输问题;钢材、水泥滞销是因为基建压缩;全国性的“卖粮难”,主要是因为库容不足和地区封锁;江西的“四特酒”进不了湖南,湖南的香烟进不了江西,则是“地方保护主义”的结果。上述种种,都不是因为质量问题。目前,市场疲软困扰了千万企业亿万人,其中包括许多特区的企业。人们都在想:如何消除疲软,启动市场?我们有些企业摸索到了一些成功经验,如抓产品调整、开发,“你无我有”,“你有我好”,“你好我新”,“你新我廉”。从顾客消费心理看, Product quality is crucial, but good quality does not guarantee that it will sell well.
