语言教学应该结合文化教学的重要性已被当今广大中国英语教育工作者所认识和接受,培养学生的跨文化意识也已成为当今英语教学的主要目标之一。如何使英语教学更加符合社会经济发展的需求,如何提高学生的跨文化交际能力是对英语教师和目前英语教学提出的新要求。初中英语教学属于英语教学的基础阶段,所以新课程标准已经把对学生跨文化意识的重视和培养作为重要内容。语言与文化的关系密不可分,要想真正掌握一门语言,必须要先了解这门语言所在的文化。
The importance of language teaching combined with culture teaching has been recognized and accepted by the majority of Chinese EFL educators today and training students’ intercultural awareness has become one of the main goals of English teaching today. How to make English teaching more in line with the needs of social and economic development and how to improve students’ ability of intercultural communication are new requirements for English teachers and current English teaching. Junior high school English teaching belongs to the basic stage of English teaching, so the new curriculum standards have put the importance and cultivation of cross-cultural awareness of students as an important part. The relationship between language and culture is inseparable, in order to truly grasp a language, we must first understand the language of the culture.
