1991年,在总结前两年经验的基础上,我们在辽阳县下八会乡农技站试验地上种植6亩三株同穴玉米高产试验田,采用高密度(理论株数每亩5360株)、地膜覆盖、矮化栽培,以及其他综合高产措施,实现了“吨粮田”。秋后经省、市、县联合验收,亩实收穗数5892穗,平均穗粒数604.8粒,百粒重34克,理论产量1211.6公斤,扣除12%损耗,合亩产1066.2公斤,创造了高寒山区玉米亩产新纪录。我们的主要做法是:
