为定量考察人类面部向前向下生长发育的特点，本文应用矢量分析，把Ｘ线头影测量Ｄｏｗｎｓ分析法中的ｙ轴分解成水平方向（代表面部向前发育）及垂直方向（代表面部向下发育）两个分量，并确定ｙ轴在该两个方向上的分布规律。选择上海地区各年龄段（从替牙期到恒牙期）正常人群Ｘ线头颅定位侧位片共７５张，分别测出各组人群的ｙ轴角、ｙ轴角余切，结果三组间无显著性差异（Ｐ＞０．０５）。表明各年龄段正常人群面部发育在向前及向下方向上的分配比值保持恒定，并且不同年龄段间有十分相同的比值关系。分析证实了Ｂｒｏｄｉｅ提出的观点，即面部生长发育的方向在一生中保持相对恒定。
In order to quantitatively examine the characteristics of human face forward and downward growth and development, this paper uses vector analysis to decompose the y-axis in the Downs analysis of X-cephalometry into horizontal direction (representing facial development) and vertical direction (representing face down Development) two components, and determine the y-axis distribution in the two directions. A total of 75 X-ray skull positioning lateral radiographs were collected from all age groups in Shanghai (from the dentate phase to the permanent dentition phase) to y-axis angle and y-axis angle in each group. Show that the normal population of all ages facial distribution in the forward and downward direction of the distribution ratio remains constant, and different age groups have the same ratio. The analysis confirms Brodie's point of view that the direction of facial growth and development remains relatively constant throughout his life.
