日本各器件公司提出,1990年度4～9月的硅片价格要比1989年度下半年一律降低10％。各硅片生产厂强调,随着1兆位到4兆位、16兆位的高集成化,相应的要求提高硅片质量,并与器件厂就价格问题进行交涉。双方将举行高级会谈,以保证高性能硅片的稳定供给为原则。半导体硅片1989年度上半年的价格降低了百分之几,但4兆位用高性能硅片,由于质量要求高而使得6时硅片的成本提高15～20％。
Japan’s device companies proposed that silicon prices in April-September 1990 will be 10% lower than in the second half of 1989. Wafer manufacturers emphasize that with the 1 megabit to 4 megabit, 16 megabits high integration, the corresponding requirements to improve the quality of the silicon, and the device manufacturer on the issue of price negotiations. The two sides will hold high-level talks to ensure the stable supply of high-performance silicon is the principle. The price of semiconductor wafers dropped by a few percent in the first half of 1989, but the high-performance 4-megabit wafers increased the cost of 6-wafers by 15-20% due to the high quality requirements.
