一般熔模铸造制壳工艺工序繁多,周期较长,这是由于它的硬化、凉干这道重复多次的工序所造成。在现行制壳工艺中,它的时间约占总涂壳时间的90%以上。因此,要简化工艺,缩短周期,根本的方法是革掉这道工序。交替硬化即是配制两种不同性能的涂料(一种是酸性,一种是碱性),在模组上交替涂复。在涂复过程中两种涂料相互硬化,快速析出凝胶,达到互相硬化的目的,不再需要外加的硬化和凉干。
