1945年12月30日,中国民主促进会在上海正式宣告成立。1997年11月,民进八大明确提出:半个多世纪以来,我们民进在致力于民族解放和振兴的实践中,特别是在改革开放近20年的实践中,积累了丰富的工作经验,形成了坚持接受中国共产党的领导,坚持爱国、民主、团结、求实,坚持立会为公的优良传统。随后,“三个坚持”作为民进的优良传统,被明确写入中国民主促进会章程。今年是民进成立70周年,全会正在深入开展坚持和发展中国特色社会主义学习实践活动,如何继承和弘扬民进优良传统并彰显其时代价值,是深化学习实践活动需要不断思考并在实践中作出回答的一个重要问题。
On December 30, 1945, China Democratic Progressive Party was officially announced in Shanghai. In November 1997, the 8th NPC made it clear that for over half a century, our people’s progress has accumulated a wealth of work experience in the practice of national liberation and rejuvenation, especially in the practice of reform and opening up nearly 20 years ago. Formed a fine tradition of persistently accepting the leadership of the CPC and upholding patriotism, democracy, solidarity and truth-seeking and upholding the principle of establishing the legislature. Subsequently, as the fine tradition of people’s progress, “Three Persists ” was explicitly written into the constitution of China Association for the Advancement of Democracy. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The plenary session is deepening the study and practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics in depth. How to inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of the people’s progress and highlight the value of the times are the issues that need to be constantly pondered and implemented in practice. An important question to answer.
