随着体育事业的快速发展,人们越来越关注体育及体育新闻报道,并积极参与体育实践活动,从而强化体育知识,感受体育激情。目前体育新闻在新闻报刊上占据了较大的篇幅,但是由于语言等因素的影响,人们往往难以有效阅读英语体育新闻报道,因而体育新闻标题的翻译成为业界重要的研究课题。就现阶段而言,功能翻译理论能够打破“功能对等”的束缚,更适用于体育新闻标题的翻译,能够保证新闻的有效性和可靠性。本文就对功能翻译理论视角下体育新闻标题的汉译进行深入分析和探讨。
With the rapid development of sports, people pay more and more attention to sports and sports news reports, and actively participate in sports practice activities so as to strengthen sports knowledge and experience sports passion. However, due to the influence of language and other factors, it is often difficult for people to read English sports news effectively. Therefore, the translation of sports news headlines has become an important research topic in the industry. At this stage, functional translation theory can break the shackles of “functional equivalence” and is more suitable for the translation of sports news headlines, which can ensure the validity and reliability of news. This article analyzes and discusses the Chinese translation of sports news headlines from the perspective of functional translation theory.
