张玉葛同志是南通市燃料公司驻徐州调煤站经理。自1960年参加工作以来,他已经在煤炭调运的“前沿阵地”战斗了31个春秋。改革开放以来,这块在燃料供销战线默默燃烧的“精煤”,散发出更强的光和热。近几年,南通市经济建设迅速发展,对煤炭的需求量逐年递增,徐州于是成了该市举足轻重的煤炭发运基地。张玉葛同志自担任驻徐州调煤站经理以来,和全站同志日夜奔波于徐州、铜山、柳新等调运点上,出色地完成了一年又一年的煤炭调运任务。去年共调进煤炭63万吨,创历史最高纪录,为南通市的工业生产和人民生活作出了重要贡献。为提高公司的经济效益,降低煤炭成本,张玉葛同志在煤炭调运中处处精打细算。去年,为了实现柳新煤全部由铁路运输,他多次到徐州铁路局、徐州矿
Comrade Zhang Yuge is the manager of Nantong City Fuel Company’s coal station in Xuzhou. Since he took part in the work in 1960, he has fought for 31 years at the “forward position” of coal transportation. Since the reform and opening up, this “clean coal” that burns silently in the fuel supply and marketing front has given off more light and heat. In recent years, the economic construction in Nantong has developed rapidly, and the demand for coal has increased year by year. Xuzhou has thus become a pivotal coal shipping base in the city. Since Comrade Zhang Yuge became the manager of Xuzhou Coal Conversion Station, Comrades of the entire station have travelled to Xuzhou, Tongshan, Liuxin and other transportation sites on a day-to-day basis. They have successfully completed the year-and-year coal transportation tasks. Last year, a total of 630,000 tons of coal was transferred into the country, setting a record high and making important contributions to the industrial production and people’s lives in Nantong City. In order to improve the company’s economic efficiency and reduce coal costs, Comrade Zhang Yuge has been careful in calculating and distributing coal. Last year, in order to realize that Liu Xin coal was all transported by rail, he repeatedly went to the Xuzhou Railway Bureau and Xuzhou mine.
