全國醫學工作同道們: 世界和平理事會根據第二屆和平大會關於文化交流的决議,委託執行局以全力協助組織—醫學工作者會議,我們中華醫學會全國各地分會理事長會議堅决擁護這一决議,並迫切希望早日召開。各國人民間加强了文化關係,會使各國人民間的互相了解得到進一步的發展,會使各國人民對於爭取和平而從事共同鬥爭的信念得到鞏固。目前國際間的戰爭氣氛,急需澄清,全世界的人民都痛恨戰爭,擁護和平,因為一旦和平經濟轉入戰時經濟,可以想像將對人民生活有非常劇烈的影響,所以我們完全同意在這次會議中特別討論關於反對因備戰所引起的惡劣影響而鬥爭,及保護人民健康的問题。我們贊成在議事日程中特別涉及發展醫學與維護和平的關係,備戰對人民健康的惡劣影響,以及文化關係的封鎖對於醫學發展的阻礙,並要求全國醫學工作者對此展開熱烈的討論與研究。
