湖南省人民委员会于五月十六日至十八日举行了第十六次委员会议。到会的有在长沙市的全体省人民委员会委员。省人民委员会各厅局和各高等学院的负责人也列席了这次会议。程潛省长在会上传达了第二届全国人民代表大会第三次会议的主要精神和周恩来总理在这次会议上的“政府工作报告”。会议就此进行了认真的、热烈的讨论。副省长周世剑、委员柳士英、周汝沆、凌雫新、朱宜风、黄士衡等还在会上畅谈了自己参加这次全国人代大会的感受。通过传达和讨论,大家对当前国际国内的形势和我们的任务有了进一步的认识,对克复困难,争取我国社会主义建设的新胜利充满了信心。会议一致表示,完全拥护周总理的政府工作报告和第二届全国人民代表大会第三次会议的决议。
Hunan Provincial People’s Committee held its 16th committee meeting from May 16 to 18. There are all provincial people’s committees in Changsha City. Provincial People’s Committee and the Board of the various institutes of higher learning also attended the meeting. At the meeting, Governor Cheng Qian conveyed the main spirit of the third session of the Second National People’s Congress and Premier Zhou Enlai’s “Report on the Work of the Government” at this meeting. The meeting conducted a serious and enthusiastic discussion. Zhou Shijian, vice governor, member Liu Shiming, Zhou Ruhuan, Ling Zhaoxin, Zhu Yifeng, Huang Shiheng and others also talked about how they felt at this National Congress. Through communication and discussion, everyone has gained a better understanding of the current international and domestic situations and our tasks and is full of confidence in recovering the difficulties and winning the new victory of our socialist construction. The meeting unanimously indicated that it fully supports Premier Zhou’s government work report and the resolution of the third session of the Second National People’s Congress.
